Currently, the software offers the ability to highlight worked Maidenhead grid squares, on top of just showing the grid itself. We could extend this to allow the same for the other overlays: CQ zone, ITU zone and WAB grid. This would involve custom layers based on the 3rd party ones currently imported.

"Worked" WAB/WAI grid is a bit flawed considering the chances that a user is working portable/mobile and we don't actually know their exact location for a lookup. This could only be based on a WAB/WAI SIG in ADIF, which I suspect is pretty unusual.

Worked CQ/ITU zones are still slightly flawed if we do online lookup, as previously discussed, but if it's a contest the data may be "safe" to determine from ADIF/Cabrillo exchange - only question is how we figure out that the exchange is a zone.

CQZ and ITUZ are loaded from ADIF and we already display the count, so I think we should go for this. Add a warning triangle next to Worked CQZ layer, Worked ITUZ layer and on the Stats page if online lookup is in use
